90s kid

When City of Angels was released, I was in second grade and still Catholic, so the film held deep meaning for me—something that the lyrics of “Iris” amplified.

I found it fascinating that the perspective of an angel could be woven into a song that evokes hope and sadness. The film taught me that not every story needs a Disney Princess ending, and that’s more realistic.

Playing ’90s alternative rock is a lot of fun!
